The Forum, as viewed from its front grounds

The Forum of the Democratic Republic of Gandoor is the common name used to refer to the building which houses the Gandoorese legislature, the Forum. It is located on Palace Complex in central Gandoor City and was constructed between 1903 and 1907 on the grounds of the former Royal Palace, which had been torn down under the orders of Nzarina Rebecca I in 1855 in order to use its materials for an expansion of the Palace of the Nzards. Despite popular belief, the design of the Forum is not based upon the design of the Royal Palace.

Prior to the Forum being constructed to the point of usability in 1905, the legislature met in an unused theater three kilometres from its current location.
