The Kingdom of Ganbano (Ganba: Likinu Ganbano) was a kingdom on the island of Descar from 1835 until 1886.
The Kingdom of Ganbano was ruled as an absolute monarchy by the Ganba people and was notable for being the only state governed by any of the indigenous people of Gandoor to be recognized as independent by the Nzardom of Gandoor. Gandoorese recognition of Ganba independence occurred with the Treaty of Rulookia on 16 June 1835, a date still celebrated by many Ganba in modern Gandoor as their national day. In 1886, following years of negotiations between the governments of the Kingdom of Ganbano and the Nzardom of Gandoor, the Kingdom of Gabano was formally dissolved and became the Descar Territory, a partially self-governing territory of the Nzardom of Gandoor and the Ganba monarchy was integrated into the Gandoorese nobility.
